Face Masks from Kitchen

 Hey Virtual Family,

It is the summer season and what else could be better than amazing face masks to rejuvenate and pamper your skin naturally.

So, I am going to tell you about simple Face masks of whose ingredients will be easily available in your kitchen  :-

1. Tomato Lemon face Mask

This amazing combination is for removing tan and can simply be made by crushing a medium sized tomato and mixing 2 tbs lemon juice with it. Apply it for 20 minutes and wash it off and dab your face with towel very lightly. You can repeat it twice a week. 


2. Yogurt, oatmeal and honey mask

If your skin look tired then this is just the mask for you, as the name suggests, this mask consists of yogurt, oatmeal and honey 1tbs each, blend them well, apply it on your face for 10-15 minutes and wash it with warm water and dab you face lightly. Your skin will be filled with miraculous softness. You can repeat it twice a week

3. Papaya pigmentation mask

For even skin tone, this mask does wonders. all you have to do is blend half cup of papaya with 2 tbs of honey. Apply it evenly and apply it on your face for 10-15 minutes and wash it with water and dab you face lightly. You can repeat it once a week

4. Banana Face Mask

This mask is for natural glowing skin, all you have to do is to mash half banana in a bowl along with 1 tbs of yogurt and honey each and leave it for 15 minutes and wash it lukewarm water. If you have a dry skin you can use a moisturizer afterwards.You can repeat it twice a week.


5. Potato Face Mask

It was the most amazing of all and my personal favorite. as it brighten your skin unexpectedly. Mix 2 tbs of potato juice and lemon juice each and apply it on your face and neck. Apply it for 20 minutes and wash it off and dab your face with towel very lightly. You can repeat it once a week.

So here are certain foods you can have for a healthy kick start of the day. 

1. Eggs

Be it boiled eggs or omelette, half boiled or water fried , eggs are one of the most nutritious foods of all. They are full of proteins and helps you eat fewer calories. Eggs may reduce heart disease risk by modifying the shape of bad LDL cholesterol increasing good HDL cholesterol and improving insulin sensitivity.

2. Oatmeal
oats are rich in antioxidants which protect their fatty acid from becoming rancid this antioxidants may also benefit heart rate and decreases blood pressure the old stone can trade route and they are often processed in the same facilities as gluten containing grains what male is rich in gluten glucan fibre which lowers cholesterol and increasing feeling of fullness.

3. Chia seeds are high in fibre and packed with antioxidants that may reduce inflammation and decrease disc disease so chia seed pudding can be eaten as a healthy breakfast.

4. Berries are high fibre and low in calories they are also rich in antioxidants that may decrease the risk of diseases they can be combined with yoghurt which could serve very tasty and healthy breakfast popular berries includes blueberries raspberries strawberries and blackberries

5. Several kind of toasts such as avocado toast, tomato toasts or a toast made up of of vegetables excluding the root vegetable such as potato or sweet potato can be a very nutritious breakfast

6. Upma thepla, sprout salad, poha, idli sambar, multigrain paratha, dal/besan cheela are certain indian breakfasts which give a great kickstart to your day and also keeps your tummy full.


7. in a busy schedule like that of today's world nuts are very satisfying and nutritious breakfast nuts are filling nutrient dense foods that may help reduce heart risk and improve blood sugar level. Nuts can be combined together and a handful of them serve a very great breakfast.

Anulom Vilom Pranayam

Hello virtual fam!
Today I am going to tell you about zero side effects' Pranayam namely, Anulom Vilom.
Anulom Vilom Pranayam is one of the most beneficial pranayams with 0 side effects.
It is a breathing exercise in which you have to breathe with alternative nostrils. 

For practicing this exercise, you have to sit straight and while sitting, touch your index fingers with thumbs with respective hands and put your hands on the knees. You first have to inhale from the right nostril and afterwards exhale from the left one, continue this process vice versa for minimum of 10 minutes and maximum as you like.
Although the people suffering with backaches or who can not hold a sitting for a long time can do this exercise by laying down or by taking the support of wall while sitting.
  • Cures mental illness such as depression, anxiety, stress and tension etc.
  • Good for lungs
  •  Makes the mind calm which results in sharpness of mind.
  • Treats diseases such as asthma and bronchitis.

Ginger water helps in a lot in terms of the body such as weight loss,  controlling sugar level, controlling cholesterol level at bay, certain pains and help with morning sickness. Although, it must be kept in mind that excessive ginger has its own losses such as causing heartburn, gas and abdominal pain, etc.

Half a teaspoon in a glass of 200 ml is enough after breakfast. Although grated ginger boiled in water is great but you can also put the grated ginger in normal water and leave it for approximately half an hour and then drink it. The taste of ginger is too strong so if you want then you can add a little bit of lemon juice or honey to the water.

So, today I'll discuss with you the quantities and qualities of certain

1. Include Turmeric(Haldi)(1tsp), Neem(5-10 leaves), Lemon juice(1 tsp), Ginger(1inch), Amla(1 in raw form/1tsp in juice form), Honey(1tsp) and Chawanprash(1regular spoon) in your day. You can eat them raw or in powdered form and if you want to go creative you can make a smoothie out of it mixing all these ingredients with milk or you can boil them all in a form to make Kadha. Raw or with water, these ingredients can do wonders for your body.

2. Golden milk or water should be taken twice a day to keep your body warm and free from bacterias.
It comprises of half tsp of turmeric in 250ml of milk or water for those who are lactose intolerant.

3.  Along with this, you can add bell peppers, broccoli, spinach, garlic, yogurt, and sunflower seeds as vegetables as a part of a whole meal. Kiwi and papaya as fruits are great immunity boosters. 5. Practicing Simha Kriya(for the lungs) which is done by sitting in a straight posture, putting your palms on both of your knees then lift the arms in such a way that your ribcage lifts up the diaphragm region, take your tongue out and extend it fully out and exhale 21 times, after that open your mouth in such a way that your jaws have a passage for air to move out of your mouth and exhale similarly with pressure 21 times again and then sit quietly for about 2 minutes. It strengthen your lungs and prepares them for alien bodies and even if it has entered your body, it will help in getting rid of it.

Next is Suryabheedi in which we close one nostril for about 5-10 minutes and breath with the other one. It generates heat in our body and gives warmth to it.
